The Asheville Art Museum is such a treat and is mere steps away from Arras Vacation Rentals. Cross the street and you’re there! Immerse yourself in contemporary art, explore the latest exhibits, and take a trip to the rooftop terrace to see their outdoor sculpture garden.

River Arts District: If you enjoy discovering hidden gems, you absolutely cannot miss the River Arts District. Picture historic buildings along the French Broad River, filled to the brim with local artists doing their thing. It’s like stepping into a creative wonderland! Don’t have a lot of time to explore? Go straight to the Wedge Studios and then Oddyssey ClayWorks.

Asheville Urban Trail: Get ready to stretch your legs and soak up some local history on the Asheville Urban Trail. It's a self-guided walking tour through downtown Asheville, where you'll enounter 30 sculptures and plaques that share the city's captivating past. It's educational, fun, and will get you moving.

Pack Square Park: Need a breather from the hustle and bustle of the city? Head straight to Pack Square Park. This little slice of heaven in the heart of the city is perfect for chilling out, picnicking, and enjoying live performances. There’s even an interactive water feature for kids and kids-at-heart.

Wicked Weed Funkatorium: Calling all beer enthusiasts! Make sure to swing by the Wicked Weed Funkatorium, a brewery that's all about the funky and sour flavors. Try one of their barrel-aged beers that rocketed them to the top of Asheville’s explosive craft brewery scene. The hype is real!

Downtown After Five, 5 pm to 9:30 pm, August 18 and September 15, 2023. This one’s for the music lovers! North Lexington Avenue in downtown turns into a giant block party with a giant stage and local and regional musicians that will have you dancing in the streets. Adjacent parking lots and sidewalks become makeshift markets with local beer vendors and food trucks ready to take your order on the sidelines.

The Pack Square Artisan Market. Every Friday until October 27, you’ll find a delightful array of independent artists selling handmade wares in a juried market of local goodness directly across the street at Pack Place. This rain or shine market is FREE to attend and welcomes pets, friends and families of all ages.
